- Payment Information: Subscription billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers or bank account details. Stripe may collect payment information in accordance with their privacy policy.

- To Provide Our Services: We use your information to deliver, maintain, and improve our services, including calculating your financial independence metrics and generating reports.
- AI-Powered Features: If you use our AI-powered features (such as monthly reviews and data entry assistance), your financial data may be sent to third-party AI service providers (such as Anthropic) for processing. This data is used solely to generate your requested insights and is not used to train AI models. We send only the minimum data necessary for each AI feature to function.
- For Analytics: We analyze usage patterns to better understand how users interact with our services and to enhance user experience.
- For Marketing: We may use your information to send you promotional communications about new features, offers, or updates. You may opt out at any time.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We share your data with third parties only in the following circumstances:

- Account Linking (Plaid): If you choose to link financial accounts, your credentials and account data are transmitted through Plaid. We do not have access to your bank login credentials. See Plaid's Privacy Policy.
- AI Service Providers: Financial data necessary for AI-powered features is sent to third-party AI providers for processing. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing the requested service.
- With Your Consent: We may share your information when you explicitly consent to such sharing.
